Meet
Josh & Shelby
We founded Gianni Creative Studio in 2023 after 30 collective years of working in the bush and developing our photography. Shelby started capturing wildlife in 2008 and Josh in 2014, and over time we realised our shared passion for storytelling could help safari brands show their lodges and experiences in a way that truly reflects how they operate. Recognising the gap in specialist safari media, we established Gianni Creative Studio to bring industry experience into professional production.
Our approach is grounded in real safari life. We capture lodges, wildlife and guest experiences as they unfold; never staged, always authentic, blending cinematic and documentary storytelling with a natural eye for composition. Projects like our work for Royal Madikwe, Ivory Tree and Shepherd's Tree and Tulela Safari Lodge reflect this philosophy. Gianni Creative Studio exists to help safari brands elevate their visuals and communicate the exclusive, authentic experiences they offer, long before guests arrive.
